Just took our first family Zumba class. Made a fool of myself, but had so much fun!

“Your hair is looking pretty cool today, Annie.”
“Can you brush it, daddy?”
“Of course.”
“Can we get a picture together, daddy?”
“I’d love to.”

Our 8th anniversary was last week. Came across this photo of us at our friends’ wedding in 2017 a few months before we got married. Amazing how much has changed since that time. You have helped me become a better human and I’m grateful to have shared this last decade with you. @outdoorshar

The birthday festivities are over, and we had fun…but apparently GWL is the gift that keeps on giving. Time for some rest! 🤒🤧🦠

Life in the fast lane

The 80s

Our tree is fake so just smelling nature

Visiting Santa Claus

Mission objective: secure samples. Holding the line until mini corn dogs are deployed.

Overheard dads from the other team saying they felt bad our kids barely scored in today’s soccer match. Probably didn’t mean to sound haughty, but their tune changed when they heard most of ours are 6-year-old 1st graders in a 2nd-grade group. Proud of their teamwork and spirit!
Walked into Habitat ReStore yesterday and this picnic basket instantly brought me back to my childhood. My mom had one of these when I was a kid.

I’m blaming the broken bat 🫣
I haven’t seen much of Montero, but being under that kind of pressure in your 2nd season must be a wild experience.
Tigers giving me a heart attack. #detroit
Early adopter. Poor judgment.

The U.S. Census Data GIS Maps no longer load. Esri support is contractual, but what is the likelihood the shutdown impacted this so quickly? Hard to submit so much as a grant application without basic mapping tools from Census.gov. #data
The Trump cult is remarkably quiet on the FB feed these days.
I’ve been using Apple products since the early 2000s and I can’t remember a time I was this frustrated by a design change. The blur on all the icons and widgets is unbearable. Even with “reduce transparency” turned on, my eyes feel like they just can’t focus.
Jenna Ortega has 30M more followers than Natalie Portman on Instagram. Ask me yesterday and I wouldn’t have even known who the former was.
Finding it increasingly difficult to watch everyday life go by while we descend into fascism. I’m losing hope that this will be just a brief nightmare.
The frequency with which I see seniors resharing 100% fabricated AI news stories complete with fake images is one of the most alarming things going on in the U.S. today.
Took the lenses out of a pair of glasses I accidentally sat on while in Italy and popped them into some cheap gas station frames. They’re not a perfect fit, but they’ll be good as a backup pair.

Her first haircut!

My dentist isn’t neutral.

Some sources say that between 50-70% of the population doesn’t have an internal monologue. Terrifying, but also makes sense.
Graham crackers + milk > s’mores
I can always tell when I’m old enough to be the other parents’ dad at soccer practice when their kids are sporting those weird zoomer bowl cuts.
All this chatter about Tylenol has me wondering:
Does that stuff actually work for anyone? Acetaminophen has never worked for me for any kind of pain, not even once.
Three more days to delete 10s of gigs of images from Google Photos before they revoke my email privileges for non-renewal of Google One. And their decision to only allow me to delete 500 at a time solidified my decision to never pay them again, if I can help it.
