Sometimes I look at professional musicians who have small children and just wonder “how?”
My wife made the mistake of telling me the song to which she lost her virginity. There’s no limit to the fun you can have with this info. Having her parents over for dinner? Play the song! Celebrating Mother’s Day? Pregnancy photos set to the tune of the song!
I’ve noticed that the cuter my 1-year-old daughter gets, the more people say she looks like my wife. Not sure how I should feel about this given that when she was a bald headed roly poly she was apparently my twin.
Fun fact: my dog will eat almost anything but will not eat a pretzel if her life depended on it. Makes me seriously question whether I should eat them!
I ended up leaving the Urbanists.Social Mastodon instance. Even though I’m an urban planner by professions and a vocal advocate for transit, complete streets, etc., it’s completely overrun by cyclists.

Several times now, I’ve written and posted updates with Gluon and the posts have just disappeared into the ether, never to be seen again.
People can be so small, lying for personal gain. I had a falling out with a long-time friend this year and found out our relationship was discussed on their (extremely obscure) podcast. If only their listeners knew what I know about them. Meh.
Is there no way to know who follows your Micro.blog?
Seems to be about a 20-30 minute delay before replies to Mastodon accounts from Micro.blog become visible on Mastodon itself.
When I respond to someone’s post on Mastodon with my Micro.blog account, I can only see my replies in Micro.blog itself (and Gluon), but not on Mastodon. I’ve looked for my replies with both the Mastodon web client and various apps, but no dice. What gives?
Updated the bridge and neck on my Custom Player Jazzmaster. Took the adjustomatic off in favor of a Halon, and replaced the MIM pau ferro neck with a American Professional II. Still needs a few tweaks, but so far so good. 🎸
