My brother Brad has gone through so much since his cancer diagnosis in 2014. I hate it that he has to go through this, and I wish I could take it away.

âIâm working!â – Pax. Happy 2nd birthday to our little guy. He knows his ABCs, can count to 14, and heâs learning to count in Spanish. He no longer likes âwheels on the busâ but âold Macdonaldâ is a timeless masterpiece. He loves going to the park and hiking in the woods. His interests include trucks, tractors, dinosaurs, animals, and space. Love ya kid!

My coworker today due to a gap in daycare coverage. My lil dude starts at a Montessori school next week ahead of turning 2 on Jan 26th! Heâs such a smart, happy, caring and fun kid!

Confession time. Our sofa is always in a state of complete disarray. Aside from bodies (both human and animals alike), you will find blankets to protect against said animal footprints, [5] blankets for warmth, blankets for ânice n cozyyyâ (Pax), pillows, dog toys, dog bones, remnants of Natureâs Bakery Fig Bars, one AirPod, childrenâs PJs, an unused wet wipe, 2 mismatched childrenâs socks, and probably the remote control I havenât seen since the first week of December.

2020 was like nothing I could have ever imagined. Iâve had some struggles myself, both with my head and health. But I have been so privileged during this time, and Iâm grateful for the people in my life, blessed to be a husband & dad, and thankful for the health of those around me. I also acknowledge my privilege as a white middle class household with relatively stable employment. I feel so heartbroken for those who donât, and if thereâs a way I can help, please let me know. I wish everyone a healthy and prosperous 2021, preferably at least once consuming delicious food and beverages INSIDE a really nice restaurant.
