My second batch of fermented hot sauce turned out a lot better. I filtered the solids out of this one, which Iâve heard are good as a sandwich spread. Good heat but not unbearable. Interested to find out how the flavor develops over time.

I wasnât crazy about the woody taste of the last batch of hot sauce I made. So this time the only thing going into the fermentation are homegrown Red Hot Chili Peppers, a red sweet pepper, and garlic. I also removed the stems and sliced the peppers length-wise for good measure. ð¶
