Happy that we got down to California and back for Thanksgiving before all the precip hit in the Mtns. Beautiful as it is, I don’t miss driving in it, especially with steep grades.

My son is going on 4 years old and we’ve kept his hair at a medium length for a couple years now. We always get comments from my wife’s conservative family about how he needs a haircut, but it just makes me want to keep it growing. It bothers me, and I know they won’t be the same way with my daughter in a couple years. It’s for sure gonna come up again around Christmas and I need some good one liners to throw them off their balance. Any suggestions?

Good lord is it hard making lasting friendships as a 40-something male. Doesn’t help that almost half of my 7 years in the #pnw has been during COVID, and as a new parent of two little ones. Wife is thriving with her mom groups, but the husbands stick to themselves. #pdx

Invariably, when I'm watching clips of the Rich Roll podcast, I find myself not even listening to what the guy is saying. Often I'm just thinking: “dang, this guy has a good tan. I wish I had a successful podcast where I could hock underwear and plant-based protein so I could afford to live in Malibu.”

I’ve been keeping an eye on the housing market in metro Portland and I don’t think prices are going down much at all. Just a gut feeling, but it kind of looks like realtors are setting initial prices higher than normal and then reducing them to look like a real reduction. #pdx #housing #interestrates

Snapped this photo of Glacier National Park last summer as I rounded out states 46 through 49 on a road trip to clear my head. I had just lost my brother to brain cancer and the road was calling me. Glacier and the Black Hills hit me hard.
